Diagnosis. One email blast treated every registrant identically. People signed up with intent but were not behaviourally committed, and competing priorities won the gap.
System built. Day-level branching workflows splitting engaged from dormant registrants, an SMS escalation ladder, VIP drips, and a dwell-time webhook on the payment page that triggered a follow-up before the tab closed.

Diagnosis. The primary CTA sat below the fold on small screens, and the social proof that would have settled purchase anxiety was buried where only 12% of visitors ever scrolled.
System built. Sequential split tests run to statistical confidence: a fixed mobile CTA bar, testimonials moved directly under the video, then a second round testing contrast and emotional framing.
CRO is not one big win. It is compounding small ones, each removing a friction point competitors cannot reverse-engineer.
